NORML invited Eddy Lepp from Lake County California to speak at the UofA: Altell Ballroom. Eddy spoke about his garden, patients, and his legal battles with the United States DEA. Eddy has been busted 4 times for growing marijuana for sick people in California. The first two times he was accquited of all charges. The third and fourth times have not gone to trial yet. Eddy was the first person in California to be arrested, tried, and accquited under Californias PROP 215. Eddy won the 2004 High Times: Freedom Fighter of the year award @ the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. Eddy is sueing the government for $65 MILLION DOLLARS for the past raids on his farm.
